Ozone for Use in Pools Explained
Ozone (O3) is a colorless gas with a distinct, pungent odor. It is a molecule made up of 3 atoms of oxygen.
Interestingly ozone occurs quite readily in nature, most often as a result of lightning strikes that occur during thunderstorms.
In fact that "fresh, clean, spring rain" smell that we notice after a storm most often results from natures creation of ozone. Ozone generators create ozone in your home or business ensuring the same clean air as found in nature.
Ozone is one of the most powerful disinfectants in the world, second only to Fluorine. It is three thousand times more potent than chlorine in destroying germs, bacteria, and viruses.
It doesn't have as strong or overpowering odor like Fluorine or Chlorine, yet it is so powerful, it actually kills those odors.
Once generated by ozone generators, ozone is quite unstable, one of the three oxygen atoms eagerly splits off the molecule and attaches itself to any particle or pollutant with which it comes in contact.
That single oxygen atom from the ozone air purifier proceeds to "oxidize" that particle. As a result, the particle will no longer be toxic, and will no longer be able to reproduce, if it is biological.
In other words, the toxic particle becomes completely harmless once ozone air cleaners do their job.
When the single oxygen (O1) molecule oxidizes the particle, it too is destroyed.

Ozone generator dangers can be minimal in occupied areas, as long as the ozone concentration remains below the specified by OSHA or the EPA.

Ozone may also worsen chronic respiratory diseases such as asthma and compromise the ability of the body to fight respiratory infections. People vary widely in their susceptibility to ozone. Therefore, you should only run our machines on their low settings, in well ventilated spaces while people and pets are present. Ozone is like many other essentials in life. A little is good, a lot is not. Too much food can make you overweight, too much water can cause drowning and over dosing on life-saving medications can make you very ill.
In order to totally eliminate any danger from using ozone, do not run our machines in occupied spaces. Utilize the timers available on many of our units, to switch on our ozone generators while you are out of the building and shut them off an hour or so before you return, so the ozone has time to safely dissipate (turn back into oxygen) prior to reoccupying the space.
You may also safely operate our machines on their higher settings in adjacent room as long as the door is shut, or another barrier (plastic sheet) is employed, between the occupied space and the room being treated. Generating ozone in the basement while you occupy the upper floors, is generally not a problem as ozone is heavier than air so it will remain down it the basement.

Ozone generators work well in removing odors from automobiles, boats and recreational vehicles. They do not mask odors; ozone generators destroy odors, never to return.

A reputable mold remediation company should be employed for this job as it involves handling some
very nasty material and should be performed by personnel protected with hazardous material gear.

2. Using an ozone generator is the other proven method. A sufficiently high concentration of ozone
will kill airborne mold (the most dangerous type and the most likely to end up in your lungs).
Ozone generators will also kill the surface mold on any material it contacts.
Ozone is like air, if air can reach the mold, ozone can reach the mold, and kill it, permanently. Neither air, nor ozone can penetrate dry wall, wood, or other non-porous building products. It is difficult for Ozone to get into the padding under carpets, or inside stuffed furniture.
Remember - there are ozone generator dangers, but the dangers can be minimalized by strictly adhering to the cautions and recommendations provided with each of our products.
a. Cleaning Fruits and Vegetables:

However you can ozonate an Apple than has not been cut - So as long as the skin of the fruit or vegetable has not been broken you can successfully ozonate for up to 6 months without any decomposition taking place.

Pure healthy drinking water - life giving energy!
The largest commercial use of ozone is in the purification of water. Both the FDA and EPA certify that ozone destroys 99.9992 percent of all pathogenic germs, while oxidizing (destroying) 99.9992 percent of all pollutants in the water at the same time.
Ozonate water and drink within 20 minutes. It is best to drink on an empty stomach, i.e. one half hour before eating or 2 ½ hours after eating.
It’s well known that one should drink approximately 8 big glasses of water a day, however one should drink 8 big glasses of Ozonated Water per day.
Do NOT drink medication with freshly Ozonated water.
Use an On-Tap Ozonator in the kitchen for instant sterilization of hands, fruit and vegetables. Please note that an Ozonator that uses a turbine instead of electricity is not ideal as the turbine ozonator generates different concentrations of ozone depending on the water pressure at your home/office. You are not guaranteed a good ozone concentration.
For prevention, a major benefit can be derived from regularly drinking ozonated water.
Water is a fascinating substance, and we all take it for granted. Chemically it is considered to be an oxygen atom bound with two hydrogen atoms. The bond angle between the two hydrogen atoms is known to be variable, depending on the amount of energy in the molecule.
Research has shown that water whose bond angle is 101 degrees is 'dead' water, bereft of life-giving energy.
·When water is distilled the bond angle expands to 120 degrees upon evaporation, but collapses to 101
degrees upon condensation, and is therefore dead.
·A bond angle of 103 degrees corresponds to average water.
·A bond angle of 106 degrees produces activated, energized water, and is attainable by placing a magnet,
north pole inward, against the water container.
The highest energy obtainable in liquid water is a bond angle of 109.5 degrees, and this is attainable only by ozonating water at 4 degrees C.
However ozone will not stay in water for very long, even at 4 degrees C. Ozonating water that is at room temperature is fine (if you can't drink cold water) as the bond angle will still be greater than108.5 degrees.
Drink ozonated water - Ozonating water removes all chemicals such as chlorine, florine etc, removes all bacteria and energizes the water until the bond angle is greater than 108.5 degrees.
Ozonate water for 15 minutes per litre - about five minutes per glass using an ozone generator that emits an ozone concentration of approx 200mg/h.
Do not exceed the 5 minutes per 500ml glass time limit as ozonating water produces hydrogen peroxide (which is very good for you) however ozonating water for too long will produce large quantities of hydrogen peroxide (bleach). You can test this at home; ozonate a 500ml glass of water for an hour and apply water to a colored piece of clothing.
d. Breathing in Ozone for Medicinal purposes:
It is comforting to know that breathing Ozone bubbled through olive oil or water is not only safe but also beneficial. Some recommend this for respiratory diseases such as bronchitis, asthma etc.
Do NOT breath in Ozone directly from an Ozone generator of any kind as the Ozone might irritate the lungs. As with anything in life, instructions are provided for a reason.
e. Medical Ozone Generator with Ozone Concentration Control:
To be used for bagging, funneling, ear insuffaltion, vaginal insuffaltion and anal insuffaltion.
f. Ozonated Olive Oil - Gel
Gel - If pure extra virgin Olive oil is ozonated for several weeks the oil will start to change, it foams and becomes a gel. If kept in a refrigerator this oil holds onto its ozone for up to 10 years. This gel is 95% as active as ozone gas.
Ozonated Olive Oil Gel is helpful in bacterial infections of the skin and is used primarily for:
Fungal infections (including Athlete's Foot), Fistulae, Ulcers, Bed Sores, Gingivitis, Herpes Simplex, Hemorrhoids, Vulvovaginitis, Bee Stings, Insect Bites, Acne and other skin-related problems, Impetigo, Eczema, Psoriasis, Ringworm, Skin Yeast, Sweat Gland Infections, Tinea Versicolor, Scars, Sunburn, cuts and scrapes, nappy rash, makeup removal (do NOT put Ozonated Oil in your Eyes), skin moisturizer, dry skin, seborrhea and it is also helpful for the post-surgical treatment of wounds to prevent secondary infections.
Ozonated Olive Oil is very useful for dealing with various problems in animals. It can be applied directly to cuts and incisions or fed to them. It can be spread on the dogs or cats paws, from which it will be licked.
g. Ozonated Olive Oil - Taken internally
To Drink - If you take a ¼ cup of pure extra virgin Olive oil and bubble a high concentration of Ozone through it for 3 minutes using an air-stone you capture the Ozone O3 molecule in the Olive oil. Drink 3 tablespoons a day to get strong Ozone directly into your Colon . Ingestion of Ozonated Olive oil is used in the treatment of Colon disorders and Cancers.
Add a teaspoon to your pets food daily.
Please note you can’t Ozonate Olive oil with Ozone generators that produce 0.05ppm Ozone or less i.e., a Spa Bath Ozone generator - also the air pressure is too strong, you'll have more olive oil outside the cup than inside once you are finished.
